So I had a bad day

A very bad day. I found out after my classes that new baby can't go to school with me next year. I have a *LOT* to pray about. I am not comfortable putting a newborn in daycare. I am not in ANY way saying someone is a bad mom if they work and put their child in daycare. That is something all moms have to decide for themselves. It was tough for me to put Elijah in preschool this year and he's only there (most days) 11-2:30 and is sleeping or eating for almost all of that time.
So now I have to wrestle. Please pray for me.
(for readers who do not know: Elijah went to school with me last year. I thought it went great, which is why I was caught off-guard)

  1. Becca, I'm so sorry. That is a huge shock, I'm sure. Try not to worry.

I'll be praying that the perfect solution presents itself.

  2. Ohh Becca that really stinks(well I was thinking a bigger word-but I'll use stinks).Did they say why?
I totally understand your difficulty and will pray. I am w/you-day care is no place for babies-I understand some people have to do it,and I feel for them. we do w/o things,I do whatever extras I can to make extra $ so I can be home and I wouldn't change it for the world. I hope you God presents you w/a solution.

so sorry they won't let it be like to was last year. wonder why they changed their minds...

i'll bet you could find someone to keep the baby...someone you know and trust...who might even keep the baby for you real close to school...

    i'll be praying...

  4. That's weird. You took Isaac too. I'm guessing administration hasn't changed?
