This sweet little guy has taken to saying stupid. He's been told not to- so now he says 'stoop'
He also says thank you, you're welcome, please, pretty please, and really really pretty please :)

Look who likes to stand
He crawls to the bench and pulls himself up. (no I do not have laundry on the stairs waiting to go up...)

Lambert's
I got a salad bc I wasn't very hungry. Biggest salad I've ever seen. While this picture was being taken, Levi grabbed a black olive. You can see it in his mouth. No one saw him do it. Sneaky little guy. I saw him gnawing at something and pulled a little piece out. Thought that was all he got and put him in a high chair. He was still chewing- found the rest on the roof of his mouth.
Not really giving him anything but breastmilk- except for entertainment value. I got those mum mum rice things and those flavored puffs. Elijah loves the puffs. He ate the whole container of strawberry banana. They'll buy me some time at dinner when Levi gets fussy. I've resorted to those a lot on this trip! But back home we'll get back to breastmilk only. I told Dr G that he hasn't really had anything- he wasnt concerned. He said what I always say- moms fed babies without the help of books for thousands of years. Breastfeeding is faster and easier (not to mention free)... I really don't think moms tried to feed babies anything else until they could feed themselves.

They came!!
And they are great. I've done about 3 loads. Murphy's Law applied. I got all the laundry stuff out (I'd put it all in the bonus room so the closet would be empty, though the washer and dryer were still hooked up... they were taking those away with them) and put a load in. OF COURSE right afther that, they call and say they are coming. I put the wet clothes in the hamper and in the bonus room. I had a wet load waiting on that dryer... and they dried in 40 minutes on medium! The other dryer took me resetting it to 70 at least once, sometimes they still weren't dry... on high heat! And that was when they weren't as dry as my new washer gets them. I love having the dryer on top. I'd rather bend for the wet clothes to put them in the dryer than the repeated bending I do taking them out of the dryer (I take things out one at a time so they don't wrinkle and either hang them up right away, or lay them flat).
The kids all sat against the wall watching the first load. Elijah thought it was neat, but he felt sorry for his clothes. He kept saying "My clothes my clothes!!"
I'll take a picture of the closet in a minute... I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it the way it is or get the elfa hanging bars to go with the shelves I already have. I have a mobile laundry center in there now, but not sure I want to use it. It'll do for the time being. I took the doors off since these are so quiet. They got in the way. I plan on getting a retractable clothesline to hang across when I want to cover it. I do laundry so often, it doesn't make sense to have it covered all the time. I'll hang a sheet or something with clothespins when I want it covered.
I counted the loads I did last week. I wasn't sure how many loads I did. Just that I did at least one a day. I did 10 super capacity sized loads. I don't expect these machines to reduce the number of loads... that isn't why I wanted them. I wanted them to dry faster and stack... and if they clean better... great. I do like that they use less detergent and it says right on the dispenser how much to use. David does his laundry and usually uses the regular amount whether it is concentrated detergent or not. That won't work with a front loader.

Washer Dryer
Was supposed to get my new washer and dryer last night. We ordered them about 3 weeks ago. I've been wanting a front loader/stackable set for a while now. My old washer isn't spinning well and the dryer is not drying well. They work... but I have to set the dryer to 70 min at least twice to get everything dry. Stacking them will free up space in my laundry closet. I have had the hampers in the hall... with 5 kids... even though I wash clothes constantly, the hampers fill. I'll have some room in the closet WHEN THEY COME.
Which was not last night. Guy called at 4:30 to tell me his helper left. I told him I really needed them and asked about getting them today... he didn't give me an answer b/c apparently that wasn't his call. So, I have no idea when they will come. We're going to Branson tomorrow. I haven't done laundry since Thursday morning (when I had every last stitch done) and Abigail was at camp all last week. I'd like to start doing it again... but I don't want them to call and say they are on their way and me have clothes in the wash.
I should probably assume the worst though and get started :(

Water balloon fight!
We had a water balloon fight today. If only it took as long to have the fight as it does to fill the balloons.
I got a new laptop. I needed one for school. I still have to get the software for it, but in the meantime, it sure has been easier to keep up with blogs. Maybe I'll do a better job about blogging now that I have more to type on than a QWERTY.
Summer is going well. The days sure are a lot tougher... I'm able to get things done, so that part is good... but the kids get cabin fever and I do too. That part isn't so great.

You Made Us Your Own
My baby girl is so talented. If you recall... and you read my blog last year... she sang in the talent show at JoyWorks last year and was sick... she messed up and started crying. I jumped up there to help her out but she never could get going again... the audience ended up singing it for her. It was sweet, but no one heard her sing.
Well, she rocked this year :) It was very late. The speaker went about 45 minutes over so it was VERY late (9:15) before it even started. Thankfully, she was 4th. Here ya go!

Pool
E is the only child who'd rather play out of the water. The others were all jumping off the diving board at his age (or younger)

Cecile Bledsoe
This was written by a good friend of ours:
Tuesday June, 8th is election day in the U.S. Congressional race in Arkansas' 3rd district. I would like to ask you to vote for Cecile Bledsoe in the Republican run off. She is a friend of mine and she is a wonderful lady. Below is a link to her facebook page and a link to her website where she has a link to a new commercial. http://www.facebook.com/CecileBledsoe?ref=tshttp://
www.cecilebledsoe.com/2010/06/tv-spot-released/
Cecile has been endorsed by Sarah Palin, Congressman Asa Hutchinson, Congressman Jay Dickey, 3 of her former primary opponents and 28 current of former state Representatives and state Senators in the district. She was also endorsed by Gun Owners of America, Eagle Forum, the Susan B. Anthony List, Concerned Women of America and the Conservative Victory Fund. All of these groups recognize she is the only real conservative in this race and is clearly the right choice in this race.
Cecile's opponent has said some outright false things about her record in the closing days of this race and his campaign has personally attacked her as an "aging woman" who is "desperate and sad". The election will be close and every vote will count. I would be very grateful if you could vote for Cecile Bledsoe in this run off election.
Thanks,
Keith

Love this onesie
So cute. David got a tshirt for Levi at Walgreens today- it says 'my mom is hot'. Too funny, but he can only wear it with dad. I'd look pretty awful toting him around in it!

Nice outfit Jidge
Elijah has the nickname Jidge bc he used to say his name was I-jidge-uh. Isaac has the nickname Berg bc we used to call him Ikeyberg... And then just Berg.
That's it for nicknames amongst the Sanders clan- at home anyway. Apparently Noah is called 'Nubby' by some friends at school bc he was chubby in K4... The N being for Noah.
