It's another...

BOY. Oh yes, 4 boys one girl in my brood. We called the kids to David's office and told them by showing the picture (which I will have to scan later since I am at school). Abigail was seemingly more disappointed than I expected. She seems to have forgotten saying she could see the advantages of being the only girl... but I know she did. She was pouting a bit... but she'll be fine. No one is better suited to having 4 younger brothers than she. I was worried about Noah since he cried last time... but he just said "ok, can I go now b/c it is our outside time." LOL
I'm of course fine with that. It many ways things will be easier. Elijah and ?? can share a room. That's huge. I already have clothes ready to go.... and I'm just used to boys. It would have been a bigger adjustment to have a girl. Sure, the clothes are more fun and I love many of the hand-made things out for girls now... I would have enjoyed making some clothes. But I am not a froo-froo kind of person, so I'm just fine with more 'puppy dog tails' :)

Thanks for your comment on my blog. So many people expect you to be by the book with raising kids. I don't let it bother me. I just tell people I'll give her solids when I'm ready and when she is and not before. She's growing beautifully and that's enough for me. Congrats on #5 and a healthy boy. I'd love to have 4 or 5 but my husband seems to think 3 is all we need. I'm still praying though.

Becca, October is a good month for a baby. That's when my Ireland was born. My husband thought he was done after 2 originally even though I've always wanted at least 3 but when we had a miscarriage then my husband definately wanted a 3rd and so came Ireland which I am so grateful for. I'd love a 4th and then be done but if not I'll be ok with it too. I just love big families and I tell my husband that we're still young to be saying we're completely done. You never know what God has in store.
